MOIRÉ
OBJECTIVE:
A basic command of manipulating curves via control points. The curves are then oriented and lofted into surfaces creating an emergent performable characteristic. Operations include drafting in rhino, rebuilding, lofting/offsetting and serial sectioning.
DESCRIPTION:
Create a 7 inch line which is then sculpted with its 7 evenly distributed control points along the line. The curve is manipulated in various dimensions, starting in 2-D then continuing in 3-D. These curves are duplicated and re-oriented however preferred. The lines create a frame for which a surface can now be created.
The surface modules in which are created are then re-organized and combined into a single volume.
